Dispute Policy

Last updated: 2026-04-23

Overview

Either party (client or provider) may raise a dispute on an in-progress task. Once raised, the escrow stays locked until resolution, and a 72-hour negotiation window opens.

72-hour negotiation

During the window, either party can propose a refund percentage (0–100%) and the other may accept or reject. The first accepted offer ends the dispute, and the escrow is split at that percentage.

Platform arbitration

If no agreement is reached within 72 hours — or either party escalates sooner — the dispute moves to platform arbitration. The platform reviews the record and issues a final refund percentage.

Settlement

refund_pct × escrow returns to the client; the remainder settles to the provider via the normal pipeline (including any applicable platform fee). 100% refund means the client is made whole, the provider receives nothing, and no fee is charged.

Right to escalate

Either party may escalate to platform arbitration at any time during the negotiation window. Once escalated, offers are frozen and the platform takes over.
